Self Storage East London (Old Street)

Overall this storage unit was very easy to book and get a quote. I was able to move my belongings in immediately after sorting out payment issues. This is my first time using a self storage unit and the instructions on how to use it were clear and simple which was good. Most of the staff I've spoken to were nice and helpful, especially Mustafa, who was very patient with my enquiries and guided me through any issues I had. HOWEVER, I was very disappointed by how rude one of the staff was. And because of this, I will not be coming back to use the services at this branch again because of this reason. His name was Stephen and he was probably the manager of this branch but the way he talked to customers, both in person and on the phone, was super condescending. He just sounds annoyed all the time, has a bad attitude, and overall not suitable for a position where you'll have to be dealing with a lot of people. On the day that I moved all of my belongings out of the storage, I went to check the storage with him and he told me to wait for him to see how much I'll be refunded, so I waited for him to finish checking and was standing by the storage door very close to his office (that has a clear glass window & door ). A friend of mine came to help that day so we were just waiting there for at least 20 mins, I expected him to come call us or at least wave at us through the glass windows to give us a sign that he's done checking and so I can go and confirm things with him before leaving. But I waited and waited to the point where it got a bit too long so I decided to go knock and ask and what he said was 'I was just waiting for you actually' when he could clearly see that I was waiting for him to finish and so I can finally leave. This was one of the worst customer services I had to experience in a while, and literally such a waste of time. I don't know if he was too lazy to come and call me in person or expected me to go and check on him every 5 minutes but I already informed him that I will be waiting here for him to finish checking (so as to not rush him). He could've waved to me or my friend to let us know that we're done. So to summarize, the storage unit's system and the process of using the storage itself was good but one of the staff there has a big attitude problem and because of this I will not be returning or recommending any of my friends to come here. Please discipline and sort out your staff's attitude, if possible. I don't want anyone to waste their time like I did. Also he always sounds impatient and annoyed whenever I have any enquiries about the storage and that is literally his job to do that so if he hates it so much, he should do something else.
