Central London has so many activities to offer, we all know that. It’s busy, it’s hectic, and you never run out of things to do. And that’s the beauty of London.
But with so many things to do, it can be hard to make up your mind. So here’s a list of activities to do throughout the month of November.
November means it’s time to take out your Christmas decorations, but also your fireworks. Because it’s Guy Fawkes Night on the 5th of November. And of course, London can’t resist but have an amazing firework display from the 1st to the 7th of November. A whole week of fireworks.
Fireworks are displayed across several parks in London, including Modern Park, Alexandra Palace, Chiswick Park and Battersea Park.
London is home to the Worner Bros Studio, where you can enjoy all the Harry Potter behind the scenes. If you’re a fan of the series, or if your kids are, this event is not something you’d want to miss out. With Christmas decorations all around, this is definitely a special time of the year to visit the studios.
London is a beautiful city, but nothing compares to the time of the year when the Christmas decorations and lights go up, the weather is nippy and you’re having a glass of mulled wine.
If you’re a fan of Christmas lights, there’s a Christmas Lights bus tour that takes you around the city to enjoy the decorations. The route includes some of London’s most famous places, while a guide gives you an insight on the history of such landmarks.
Theres are plenty of similar events, such as Christmas at Kew Gardens, a light train through the park at night. And of course, we couldn’t not mention the iconic Winter Wonderland. It’s finally back! It opens on the 19th of November, it’s only a couple of weeks away!
London is famous for the concerts and events, with the biggest one taking place at the notorious O2 arena. Running until April, there’s a Mamma Mia party at the O2. If you’re an ABBA/Mamma Mia fan, this event is the perfect time for you to switch off and dance to the music. You can even pretend you’re in Greece.
There are plenty of other musicals running throughout the next couple of months, such as West End’s Moulin Rouge, as well as The Book or Mormon.
